Hired Mike Fluetsch in February 2013 to help us in a civil and urgent real estate matter. We had just moved into a new house and found undisclosed leaks, standing water underneath and toxic black mold. We were told to vacate and move out. Time is of the essence. It took him 2 months just to send out a demand letter. In the 5 months he represented us he billed us $7,500 and accomplished nothing of substance. We begged him to hurry, yet he could not coordinate the four parties to an inspection or a mediation. The attorney I hired after Mike got both scheduled within the first month. He would go a day, sometimes weeks, without replying to emails or returning phone calls, always saying he was busy on other things when he eventually returned the email. Then he would double-bill us for telling us by phone and mail he had made no progress again. The delays he caused allowed the fraudulent seller of our home to spend her $153,000 in profits then declare bankruptcy when she was finally brought into the lawsuit, leaving us with no remedy against her. Even though his emails and letters were filled with typographical errors as he did not have any support staff. In fact, he billed us $300/hour that should have been secretarial work. This is the first attorney that I have ever hired and I couldn't be happier with him.
