Mindful Career Guide

Debra Arviso is a public speaker, trainer, and career consultant working with clients individually and in groups to navigate their job searches and find meaningful work. She has worked for colleges, universities, non-profit organizations, corporations, and California state prisons. She works on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion and is particularly concerned about trauma-affected populations. She has been a member of the Advisory Committee for the California Career Development Association. Debra earned an MSc in Counseling with a focus on College Counseling and Student Services from Cal State Northridge. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo awarded her a BS in broadcast journalism. Surfing, hiking, camping, and dancing are some of Debra's favourite pastimes. Hiking through the Amazon Rain Forest, Ecuador, and surfing in Costa Rica’s two oceans are recent excursions.
