Borner's Barber College was formerly American Barber College. It was purchased from the former owner in 1990. The official name was changed in 1994. In 1995, the school relocated to 4608 S. Western Ave. Los Angeles. Due to fire damage, the school had to be relocated at 9432 S Western. The only known location is at 8913 S. Western. Velma Borner, the College's President and CEO, and Mr. Arthur Borner are the owners of the College. Arthur Borner is the manager and oversees the daily operations of the college.
Our school's aim is to establish a foundation of excellence in barber training, leading to graduates who are technically adept and employable.
The College is approved/accredited by the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
