About this business
HeyTutor wants to provide the best possible learning experience for you. We thought tutoring companies didn't offer what we do. We made a tutoring platform that brings tutors and students together. Students wanted more options for finding tutors. Instead of spending time finding a tutor, spend time studying. The more you study, the more fulfilled you are.
Reviews Summary
Heytutor receives overwhelmingly positive reviews from employees. The website is full of enthusiastic professionals who rave about their work environment. The most repeated claims are teacher appreciation, a supportive team, excellent flexible schedules, and good pay. Teachers like the open door policy and say that they are usually rewarded for their reviews. That is, in contrast to teacher feedback mentioning numerous jobs with other teaching platforms. Here are some comments from three ages 30-35:
"I'm proud of my work in the Teach Fun Club."
"The place is good, safe and a great experience."
"The gift is for the people there."
"Some roles have a lot of fun."
"- They make various learning styles enjoyable."
"- The schedule is very flexible."
"- We know you can handle challenging classes or tasks."
The three like all types of math-based activities, are generally healthier. We do not have any mentions of typical stressful startup as there seem to be good work-life balance. The most appreciated items appear to be the social climate and the ability to relax, but five employees' most common remark was a good environment. The unwillingness to trust the decision-making quality teacher negative response is documented. These comments are fewer in number than the positive remarks; around 0.2% of ratings were negative. The primary disadvantage of working at Heytutor is that some teachers cannot complete scheduled hours if the student against the institution's rules.

Very bad company, it is a fraud. Don't give them your credit card in any case. They took my credit card information and charged me every month for $240 even though I signed up for only 1 month. They never send any invoice or any email for following months but charge the card every month. When I called them for these charges, the guy is very rude and arrogant, he never listened to what I have to say. I never used any services for following months yet I was charged for $240 for 8 months. Beware, he will never email you a link for payment but ask for credit card information. It is a scam... don't fall for it.

Heytutor in beverly hills offers personalized pairing of tutors and students and shows incredible respect for tutors, students, and families. They are responsive to employee needs and empower tutors to function independently while still offering all necessary support.
Great part time gig for caregiver, management is respectful and pleasant and I feel like I am making a difference in the lives of those I work with.Tutors are given the freedom and flexibility to give clients what they need most in an environment that is comfortable and supportive.
Part Time position where you can arrange your tutoring session by yourself. It can be online or in-person, the paid is at the avarage level. Required to complete a short report after each session.
Auto-renewal scam, they make it very unclear you've signed up for a recurring fee, never email you about it again, and then make it exceedingly difficult to cancel, like others have mentioned they only allow you to cancel over the phone, the web ui is intentionally obtuse, and they make no effort to notify you of their fraudulent recurring charge, despite people having this issue for years. Clearly intentional and I'm hoping these fraudulent get sued out of business.
