Customer Feedback Summary Caleb Fitzpatrick is fantastic!!! Applying for college is overwhelming, from navigating and uploading different school platforms to writing personal essays, Caleb was both able to truly council my son (parents included!) and reduce the stress we all experience with this process. Many frequent meetings, check ins, and due dates to make sure things were ahead of schedule. Contacting Caleb anytime with questions, he always had the time/knowledge to promptly respond. We now have a very happy Freshman and love his college life. Thanks so much Caleb! You are the Best Our son worked with Melanie Tasoff at Magellan College Counseling. I cannot say enough positive things about the process. Magellan offered good resources for both students and parents from the start. Our son got a bit of a late start with the search and application process (thinking his school would provide more help) and he has some attentional challenges. Melanie was patient, goal directed, understanding, knowledgeable, and most importantly guided our son in the absolute best direction for where to apply. Melanie helped with researching schools, making appropriate choices of where to apply, refining essays, and the most efficient ways to complete applications within appropriate timelines. She developed a personal relationship with our son and genuinly cared about the teenage human she was helping get through a stressful process. He wound up with many great choices and is headed to what we believe will be the right university for him in the fall. I have two daughters that worked with Evelyn through the college counseling phase. With my older daughter, we came in late in the game. Evelyn worked with her to simplify the application process which then turned into much more. As we learned what we didn't know and saw how truly valuable the time was spent, my older daughter had done a lot of research had very clear vision of where she was applying, Evelyn interested her enough to have her add another few schools on there (diversify). In the end with all the places she was accepted, she ended up picking the school she had her add. She is a sophomore in college and very happy with her choice! My second daughter started with her in her junior year (which I highly suggest) and helped her negotiate the entire process. With coffee in hand, we were busy but so well worth every penny folks! Zero stress! Evelyn brought to my daughter's attention far more choices than maybe we would have noticed, recommended them, and helped keep the vision focused. None of these schools were even a thought, so wonderful suggestions! My kids were both very interested in college but as with all teenagers they have busy lives. Evelyn took my daughters' interests, likes, and career thoughts and found places that I had never seen before. There is no possible she could have found these areas without or daughter. Magellan introduced my daughter to a school she declared a major in and so happy (it's the Perfect fit!) Fun fact, they both asked if they could have Evelyn as their therapist (very easy to talk to!) This review is for Kathy Kelleher, who guided our daughter from junior year curriculum planning through the admission process of 2024 (the most difficult year to apply in the history of college admissions). Kathy guided and supported our daughter from making college lists to making sure the essays were the best the could be. and ultimately celebrated with her when she got into many great colleges and universities, many with substantial merit scholarships. I also appreciated Evelyn providing resources to parents, including live presentations and helpful articles and links. I highly recommend Kathy and Magellan to anyone looking for help with college admissions! Michelle is such a dedicated and knowledgeable college counselor. Her guidance and expertise made the entire college application process smooth and effective. Since she worked with my daughter from curriculum planning, essay brainstorming, identifying the best-fit schools to navigating deadlines and preparing interviews. Thanks to her personalized support at every step, my daughter felt more confident, and she got into her top choice schools! We felt so lucky that we chose to work with Michelle.
