About this business

RenArts’ academic goal is strong literacy in all subject areas. The idea is taken from Patrick J. Finn's (Literacy With An Attitude: Teaching Working-Class Children to Think for Theirself) and is influenced by the pioneering research that Paulo Freire used to differentiate between the "functional literacy" of domestic schooling and the kind of literacy that could extend sociological and political horizons. The week is organized into mixed-age instruction groups, accelerated academics, and integrated curriculum. All students are served by a shared curriculum and also whole-school arts participation, giving a culture of care and high expectations that sustains students (Kynigos, 2005). RenArts students graduate on the University of California (UC) path. All students must pass the complete UC-required courses in math, science, and history, as well as the needed arts classes. The arts program consists of music, dance, sight singing, and percussion. RenArts also offers a tuition-free, afterschool conservatory with orchestras, choruses, and dance companies from all over the region . . . as well as the school's music and dance curriculum. Students in music have unlimited access to school-owned musical instruments and a daily lesson. Dance students have a daily class in technique, choreography, and physiology. The arts are taught by a team of experienced faculty members from Yale, Curtis, and the New England Conservatory in the arts; Oberlin and CalArts assist students from varied cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds in developing individual and collective skills needed for achieving shared artistic goals. RenArts has a whole faculty working with students to help them use artistic discipline, collaboration, and success to benefit all areas of their lives. There are no requirements for auditions or prior experience for admission, but students are expected to commit to the arts. Completing grade-level courses requires dedication to the Performing Arts. This includes after school ensembles and clubs.

Reviews Summary

Most of the Renarats academy reviews are full of positive comments from family. A parent and a former student express their contentment with the institution’s approach to learning and guarantee scholars’ progressive excellence. In particular, the curriculum is comprehensive and personalized. Sufficient attention is given to the way students communicate and demonstrate they have creative and critical thinking skills. Furthermore, the absence of tests demonstrates a flexible and connected community that encourages students to use their thinking and learning. Many students also feel happy and safe due to excellent academic and social attitudes copyrighted by teachers and students. These consensus reviewers also have a problem. Finally, parents have the opportunity to participate in and write a detailed feedback on all of their children's system classes. According to many surveyors, encouraging students to think about what they read and write is a good thing. However, this is very essential in performing and writing content that is relevant to their students and the audience.
