A former Art Deco bank in the Los Angeles arts district, The Clara has been transformed into a natural light photo studio and event venue. Built-in 1923, the original bank vault, elegant 19-foot-tall ceilings with original column sculptures, and custom lighting installations by architect Brian Thoreen, make this space incredibly striking. The 4,300-square-foot location has two levels and is suitable for meetings, film and photography shoots, and weddings.

The Clara appears to be a mixed venue. A customer's daughter recently got married there though uneven tiles could be a safety hazard. The guest parking arrangement was not suitable. There was a vide shoot going on. It would have been excellent for the newlyweds to use the graffiti-filled alley for wedding photos. Nonetheless, other clients feel that the space is beautiful. Jen, the owner, is very professional. The user felt that the Studio, their goals, and the group's guidance were essential. Most of the users think the location is beautiful. It has a mix of Art Deco and modern architecture. The custom chandeliers and natural light are unique and clearly defined at The Clara. The environment is very suitable for group photography.
