Irish dancing instructors also serve as coaches and mentors over their pupils' careers. Nicole is a Registered Teacher and an Adjudicator of TCRG & ADCRG for CLRG, IDTANA, and the Western US Region. She was one of the first Americans to take the TCRG (only 30 percent pass) and became the Eastern United States & Eastern Canadian Teacher of the year in 2015. Nicole has also been an Irish Dance World Championships Solos & Teams Open Champion. She has been the third in the Mid-Atlantic, 4th in Munster Region, Ireland, fifth in the USA, and twentieth worldwide. Nicole has an MA (Hons.) in Irish Dance from the University of Limerick in Ireland. Her thesis, a literary study on the comparison of the author in Irish Studies, was unconventional. She has been hired as a lecturer both for BA and MA students due to the text's importance, and the Irish music department needed more literature courses. She spent 2 years studying the subject while in Ireland. She has also been cast in Riverdance at Radio City, one of 300 women in the historic cast. Nicole has toured with Riverdance for 7 years professionally internationally. She has been hired internationally as a workshop masterclass teacher and has performed in the West End of London, the Kremlin Palace, and for the royal family in Abu Dhabi. She started at the DeNogla School at age 10 and quickly rose to competitive success at 12 years old. She placed at multiple Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships and was a frequent competitor at National Championships. Natalie is currently studying and competing for a TCRG examination. She is a visual artist with a BFA and MFA degree and has been a working visual artist for more than a decade. Natalie is excited to teach and has experience teaching in the arts for years, including as an adjunct professor.
