Our school, definitely unique, does not prefer a one-size classroom. We individually evaluate and facilitate pupils' endeavors. Students are encouraged and motivated to study independently with this guided study approach. Blended learning involves daily, small-group, and one-on-one learning. It is crucial to have such a program for the middle school (Spufford). Our experienced educational team also provides individual instruction, support, and personal connections to all students. Many students have stated that this personal guidance and attention are the most defining factors in their achievement. SAVA's curriculum is high quality and aligned to the Common Core State Standards. Our complete course of study and support for student learning and future planning include career exploration. SAVA students will earn a high school diploma and satisfy entry requirements for work, apprenticeship, or two- or four-year college transfer programs. A combination of high-quality education and personal attention from our skilled staff provides students with the tools they need to become self-directed learners. Every student at SAVA participates in a community service project at the school or in the community. They are inspired to be active members of their communities. These activities give students a sense of belonging and show them that they can make a positive difference. They feel they are doing something valuable. We are aware that the schools' structure requires some adjustments. This program is not suitable for everyone. In our school, high school students must take Career Technical Education (CTE) courses. The school encourages students to pursue more than one pathway. It is a 2-year program that emphasizes practical learning. Students may take CTE courses in a selection of industries, including Transport, Public Service, the Arts, Media & Entertainment, Fashion & Interior Design, Agricultural & Natural Sciences, Building & Construction Trades, Manufacturing & Product Development, Health Science & Medical Technology, and Hospitality, Recreation & Tourism. These courses often offer the possibility to receive college and high school credit. In addition to these programs, we provide elective courses and extracurricular activities to students. For instance, we offer Art, Creative Writing, and Teen Leadership programs (Kensington Creative And Performing Arts High School). To this end, the uniqueness of students and the recognition of their strengths is vital.
