At Creative Performing & Media Arts (CPMA) Magnet Middle School, every student will learn and receive support in a safe and nurturing learning environment to reach their educational goals. The school’s courses will be engaging, artistic, educational, standards-based, and learner-centered. Our highly qualified and caring school staff will take the time to know students' needs and to build strong relationships with them. Our staff will also meticulously and diligently address their physical, educational, and cultural needs. CPMA will challenge and teach students to become lifelong learners, using their critical thinking abilities as a basis for communicating effectively with other people and for navigating through the various challenges that the world will provide for them. To empower and educate all students to be Caring citizens who show a high level of Honesty and possess a strong Academic Attitude, their mission is to create. CPMA Magnet Middle School is committed to a high level of academic accomplishment and a sense of community that respects and takes responsibility for each other.

A variety of reviews has been given by former and current students, indicating the school being more than merely good and best, with the express support of everyone's experience. Other assessments recommend against sending a child to the school because of school bullying. They may also comment on it, given the necessary security for their children. Some comments are humorous and not relevant. The school is favorable to pursue music ensembles and stage shows for the students.
