About this business

SDA, which is a lively archery club, has two shoots per month and three major tournaments throughout the year. At this time of the year, SDA’s first Sunday features a 28-target 3D Round, then on the third Sunday, there’s a Club Championship Qualifying Round which includes a 28-target Animal, Field, or Hunter Round. SDA’s archery tournaments are held at the famous Balboa Park in San Diego. The most anticipated tournament each year in June is the “King Arthur’s Day Tournament” held at the SDA, a novelty shooting with a medieval theme. This is a 40-target competition. SDA shoots usually cost about $20-$30. This rate may vary for other tournaments hosted by the club in a year. SDA also has a partnership with the San Diego Archers (I.e., Balboa Park Archery Range). San Diego Archers – a well-established archery club – normally has shoots most weekends and the club holds about 6-7 competitions per year. SDA works hard to make the region’s competitive archery tournaments plus themed novelty shoots. For what it is worth, the driving directions to the archery range are necessary. Parking is found at Alcazar Lot Balboa (for entrance, exit, and sitting deep into the park)

Reviews Summary

The range is home to archery targets that are both at near and far distances. A good spot for every archer, regardless of skill level, the facility is open up to 24 hours and costs only $2. Moreover, it has a serene environment marked by helpful pointers. Well maintained, why does it not cater for the archery community at San Diego. Also, it is a worthy family outing destination, especially since it is below the Prado cliffs in California. The destination is mixed with safety concerns and has been associated with the word ‘cooled’. Gallantly, the owner, Bob, has gotten several positive reviews, has turned his facility into a tourist attraction since it is a big place. Open for all, the range is clear enough for each and every US archer. Also, it should be known that the range is surrounded by an outdoor fitness course, so visitors should be prepared to walk. No one has left the place disappointed; that's why the archery range has been named the ultimate destination in the US for archers.
