The YMCA Starts With You and Ends With Us campaign seeks to raise $1,500,000 in critical funds to give back to communities through scholarships, financial assistance, and programs. Every donation will help support our mission, programs, and community initiatives. The Embarcadero YMCA is a community that builds healthy youth, families, and communities. We strive to recognize the complexity and create unique programs that build on community strength. Each community has its own challenges, which we address in a proactive and compassionate manner. We aim to create strong children, strong families, and strong communities by enriching all individuals' lives in spirit, mind, and body. We envision that America's healthiest kids will be able to live in the Bay Area. They can learn the habits and skills necessary for healthy living, as well as their ability to achieve their full potential.
The gym boasts its facilities with much positive feedback. The gym itself is beneficial, with staff lauded for being welcoming and helpful, and people get mostly positive reviews. The personnel are considered, the facilities are first-rate and clean, and everything seems to be fine. In fact, Rafael and others have been commended for their enthusiasm and not pushing people into doing things they don't want to do. Although member reviews have been somewhat flawed, members think it is the best gym in the city. The negative reviews appear to be isolated incidents, and most clients were delighted. The only potential issue that surfaced amid these positive reviews was that they were from people that seemed to love the gym.
