Reliable Fun With Mandarin Preschool and Daycare (Capitol Avenue): Our Progressive Reggio Emilia Influenced Chinese (Mandarin) Immersion Preschool and Care Program is for Infants through Kindergarten. We create a comprehensive physical, emotional, and intellectual environment to support linguistic and comprehensive development. We encourage children through a rich variety of outdoor and indoor experiences. We offer a community-supported, parent-involved approach that supports whole-child learning and development. Our city-center location near City College is easily reached by Highway 280, 101, and 19th Avenue. The Capitol Avenue building has over 3000 square feet indoor space and over 3,200 square feet outdoor. The building was recently built by early childhood educators. Our child-centered development approach is "Reggio Emilia Inspired". Still, we do our best to integrate the strengths of other Early Childhood Education philosophies, such as project-based, play-based, and collaborative learning, to build rich learning environments. Hours are 8:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday to Friday. Children will receive healthy meals during the day which includes an am, noon, and evening snack. This is just one of the three options for two-day and three-day days. We offer rolling enrollment, but most students arrive in the fall and summer. We are proud to say that we combine Mandarin immersion with comprehensive development because our teachers have a high level of expertise and experience. We use a multi-dimensional, colorful theme-based approach that is designed to give you a great start in school. This confidence and independence are developed through a variety of hands-on and mind-on activities. This allows us to provide a good starting point for early learning. A wide range of collaborative and self-directed activities encourages the development of individual and interpersonal skills required for success in kindergarten and life. We believe that intrinsic curiosity and intelligence in children are very important. We see that as essential for kindergarten education. This will help children become creative and confident learners and achievers. Our school was designed to ensure that children are capable of learning in a fun and natural way while they grow and learn. This program is designed to help children grow in a comprehensive, active way. It is clear that language learning is an essential part of a child's early education. We have found that students often arrive with a wide range of Mandarin language abilities. Our program is open to all children, regardless of whether they are native speakers. Incidentally, many parents note that the school has prevented lime groups from the previous school. this has made it easier for parents to relate with other parents, something i have never seen before. in addition they also have a new campus in the heart of San Francisco are designed to make the kids feel at home. the campus has big play areas both indoors and outdoors and the school is close to the freeway so convinient for majority of the parents. Preschool —well-equipped classrooms and everything is extremely clean. Any constructive feedback, such as that mentioning hand washing, seems to have been acted on and parents and kids are happy to recommend the school. I cannot stress enough how much the parents love this school and highly recommend this place to all the kids who want to learn mandarin.
