Laurel Hill Nursery School

Laurel Hill Nursery School is a co-op play-based nursery school for kids and parents that also acts as a parent education community, offering an environment in which children can thrive and parents can benefit from support and guidance. The cooperative is named after the neighborhood of the same name and is also known as the Presidio Nursery School. This cooperative was established with the primary goal of maintaining an environment where children could receive the most progressive care and education. Our reason for functioning as a cooperative was to foster and provide adult schooling in parent-child relations and nursery school functions. Laurel Hill is a secure spot to play for children ages two months and up. Youngsters improve their abilities by playing and exploring at their own speed. Kids’ participation in regular organized activities is welcome. A child is not confined to one room in the school. The child may sit in on other classes, walk around the building, or even play outside despite being in a class. The nursery school is open to kids who are two to nine months old. A ratio of one adult to five kids is required.
