Mission Hall opened in September 2014, and it is the first building of its kind at UCSF. It was built as the Activity-Based Workplace, a radically different way of working. The original Activity-Based Workplace was redesigned to become a hybrid open-plan architectural model. The building expands from these crucial components. Open space, well-defined, lets users select lighting and visibility for their tasks. Shared spaces support privacy, meeting rooms, conference rooms, collaboration sites, and community zones. Each person uses dedicated work tables. Some staff have private offices. Many spaces can support various work styles. Natural light, views, and sunshine are available. Mission Hall has 7 levels. Level 1: Front desk, Cafeteria, Conference Rooms, Study Hub, 24-hour cafeteria; no workstations or offices Floors 2 to 7: secured floors are used by specific Departments/Divisions; contain Workstations, Offices, Focus Rooms, Huddle Rooms, and Conference Rooms

Reviews mentioned suggest the place has great employees, cleanliness, and it is a great study, work or condoing environment. Clients appreciate the room quality and temperature as well as its optimal location. The security is rated highly because they keep guards at the doors for thorough checking for the safety of all, but it may sometimes be extremed. Some of the services, this include the pharmacy also received positive reviews. Reviewers advise anyone to visit the clinic and the facilities if they are in San Francisco.
