About this business

CalColor Academy is the Bay Area's most extensive art school, with 5 locations and more than 1700 students, in which we foster creativity. Children learn about fundamental techniques, art history, and a variety of media. We provide broad-spectrum artistic education for children from sheer enthusiasm. Our professional curriculum is suitable for novices and experts alike, from age 4 to 18. Our team at CalColor Academy is proud to offer well-rounded and age-appropriate art programs that encompass all media and genres. Students will complete a wide range of creative projects throughout the year, from drawing and watercolor to oil painting to ceramics, sculpture, textile art, digital art, illustration, design, and comics. Our entire team of teachers has BFA and MFA degrees from Bay Area art universities, and everyone loves children and treats them with respect. We are a school devoted to art, and children are our fuel. At CalColor Academy, we are eagerly enthused about the exquisite art education we provide to children. We are delighted to announce that our students achieved excellent results in the 2021 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, which attracted over 80,000 participants with nearly 230,000 entries, all competing for less than 1% to win national medals. Our students have won two National Silver Medals and 8 Gold Keys. There were also 17 Silver Keys and 10 Honorable Mentions.
