Instructor-led classroom Standard Textbooks and Workbooks assigned by the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. The chair of the Theory of Barbering classroom instructs these texts in the classroom. The workbooks and textbooks are intended to help potential Barbers pass the State Barbering Licensing Exam. Students use the classroom knowledge and standard textbooks and workbooks to cut and style clients’ hair. Urban Barber College instructors are closely monitoring Practical Application (Haircuts For Clients). This is to ensure students follow the correct barbering procedures set by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Students and clients speak with instructors to ensure they conduct themselves and adhere to the Urban Barber College Code of Conduct.
