About this business
Voices College-Bound Language Academys are public schools located in Santa Clara and Contra Costa for students from TK to grade 8. We strive to provide a world-class academic education for every student, while simultaneously honoring their cultural heritage by offering a unique dual immersion program. Our rigorous, college-preparatory TK-8 program helps all students develop essential skills in English and Spanish, but also incorporates the core identity aspects of our students. Voices founder Frances Teso, a Latina, grew up in San Jose and taught in the Franklin-McKinley School District (San Jose). Frances has been the CEO of Voices for the past 18 years. Currently, there are six Voices schools in operation: Franklin McKinley, Mount Pleasant, Morgan Hill, West Contra Costa, Stockton, and (from fall 2022) Solano County. Still, we want to serve even more families and communities by opening more Voices schools across the state
