Brooke Kent has more than 20 years of experience assisting professionals and senior executives in producing compelling, tailored, and results-oriented applications. Brooke graduated cum laude with an honors bachelor's degree in policy studies and history from Rice University. For her African internship, she received the Boren Award for International Study. In Buenos Aires, she focused on discovering what caused not-for-profit businesses to succeed or fail as they interacted with the government. Brooke began her communication career by interviewing White House Chiefs of Staff for the White House Transition Project, a nonpartisan initiative to help government transitions from President William J. Clinton's administration (now President George W. Bush). Brook served as the director of marketing and operations for Mixtec Group, the largest executive recruitment firm in the produce industry. Her department's income and the parent company's revenue grew by 71 percent during her tenure. Brooke supervised the entire company's marketing strategy and rewrote it. She ghost-wrote monthly articles for industry print media that circulate widely. As the executive writer for Los Alamos National Laboratory's director, Brooke was the voice of the director for over 8,000 technical experts and scientists. Brooke created and edited the all-employee magazine , the weekly "Director's Notebook", which featured articles, interviews, and columns. Brooke also wrote all-employee email, board-of-director letters, memos, articles, and webpage content. Brooke launched her business to serve corporate clients and nonprofits. She increased adult and child program enrollment by 54% and 160%, respectively, as a lecturer and writer for an intergenerational community program. Brooke is a seasoned entrepreneur who has created three firms, demonstrating that she understands hiring managers' thought processes (and what their computers can achieve). Brooke Kent resides in Colorado Springs with her husband and three children. She enjoys skiing, studying, and cooking and baking.
