Client Testimonials: 1. This should be a 10-star review because it was a 10-star job! My daughter has a 115-year-old, 900 sq ft house that needed a whole lot of everything. Ernie Vigil and his skilled tradesmen came in, gutted it, and rebuilt the interior. All new plumbing, all new electrical, new HVAC ductwork, new stable floor joists, a new loadbearing beam, new drywall, new floors, paint, baseboard, finishes. Ernie made a detailed estimate that reconciled with the weekly invoices: we knew what we were paying for. The progress each week was astounding. The backbreaking labor, the craftsmen, the cooperation to achieve our goals, the kindness and respect that the entire work crew showed to us made for an efficient and exceptional work environment. In the end, my daughter’s home has a brand-new kitchen, a new bathroom, living room, and dining room. The old kitchen is now her bedroom. Her 900 sq ft house was full but now she has future expansion plans. We still want Ernie and Co Const. and Demo LLC to do the work! Thank you Ernie. As you already know, you’re on my speed dial.3. This was a pleasurable experience from the start of the bid to the punch list! Completed in more than timely manner! Ernie and his crew were professionals the entire project. The communication outstanding responded so quickly. If ever a question or problem attended to immediately and resolved. We have 120 year old house with a deteriorating back porch. Ernie and crew accessed it and rebuilt now beautiful much more than an old porch an actual coffee nook. I would rate 10 if I could. If ever have another project I would definitely hire this company hands down.4. I scheduled an estimate a week ago for today. I received multiple confirmation emails and even a reminder email of the appointment. The appointment time came and went. After waiting 30 minutes, I called twice and texted the phone number. I did get a call back after a few minutes. He explained to me that the person who was supposed to come and do the estimate called in sick today. No one called me, emailed me, or communicated with me whatsoever regarding this. I moved several meetings to accommodate their 2 hour window for an estimate and they didn't even have the courtesy to call me to let me know that no one was coming. If I didn't call, no one would have reached out to me. **I want to add to my review now that the company responded. Yes - I did previously schedule an estimate for September 28th. Once I realized I couldn't keep that appointment, I immediately canceled and the company was notified well prior to the appointment time. I then wasn't "rescheduled" as they claim - the I made another appointment on my own. I also understand COVID precautions and I'm grateful for them. The company's response to my review makes it seem like they eventually reached out to me about no-showing the estimate. They did not. In fact, an hour before my appointment, I got another confirmation/reminder email from the company confirming the appointment time. I had to call the company twice, left a voicemail, and I needed to send a text before anyone reached out to me. I'll emphasize my last sentence from my review - if I didn't reach out in a variety of ways, they would have never called me. It also appears it is common practice for this company to be late to appointments as evidenced by their instructions in their confirmation email: "Please allow 30 minutes for our estimator to arrive before calling our office." In the future, this company should make it a practice to 1) respect the time of their customers, 2) honor their appointment times and not make it a habit of showing up 30 minutes late or later, 3) follow up with employees when they call in sick to make sure that person's appointments are either covered or canceled, and 4) not make excuses for their mistakes and try to defend themselves with actions they never took like "rescheduling" my appointment or "reaching out to me" or giving me "short notice" - they did none of those things.5. If I could give Ernie and his team 10 stars, I would! In a challenging market where none of the 10+ contractors I contacted were available, Ernie, the owner, himself came to my house to assess the work, was prompt in sending me a quote, and was able to schedule me in 2 months later. Everyone else I talked to was booked for the next 6+ months! Ernie had estimated 4 weeks to complete the work at my house but his team completed it in 2. They were there every day working long hours to get the job done quickly, while paying attention to the quality. I'm a picky and detail-oriented person, and saw no flaws in Ernie's team's work. Ernie communicated well during the entire job and ensured everything was completed to my satisfaction. 15/10 would recommend Ernie and his team for any home renovation/remodel work! Chad and his team renovated our basement and prepped for a kitchen reno to start next spring. I'm an interior designer and have very high expectations. I've recommended them to clients and they haven't let me down. Highly recommend!!!12. CO Construction & Demo did a fantastic job removing an old shower down to the studs and replacing it with a beautiful new tile shower with glass door.
