James M. Swinehart, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist. Since 1979, he has served in a private dermatology practice in Denver. He was born in Seattle, Washington and raised in Fresno, California. He graduated from Sanger High School as the valedictorian. James attended the University of California at Berkeley, where he completed his chemistry coursework over four years. Furthermore, he was the third-ranked in an 85-person class, graduating from Creighton School of Medicine with honors. In addition, he belongs to the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. He also completed his dermatology residency training at the University of Colorado in 1977-1978. In this age of fast-paced technological advancement, many other medical staff privileges are possessed by him, such as Porter, Swedish, and Craig Hospitals, as well as St. Luke's Presbyterian Littleton. Dr. Swinehart says, “I am perfectionist.” This means that “I perform every procedure with the skill, patience, and care that I would want for myself or my family. My staff has received extensive training as well as many years of experience. There are professional staff present in all operating rooms.
