Pam and Paul Italiano founded FashioNation in 1987 to spend time with friends, listen to music, and engage in the fun activity of “playing store.” Back then, they had no inkling that this effort would last, let alone thrive, as it has. Pam and Paul want to extend their sincere thanks to their friends, fans, staffers, and, most importantly, their customers who have kept FashioNation alive and kicking for more than a quarter-century! FashioNation started with $1,000 and 40 items of clothing on that first day the store opened. Location has helped drive and sustain the success of the store over the years. Our shop opened at 613 East 13th Avenue in the heart of Punk and Underground culture in Denver’s Capitol Hill, across the road from the iconic Wax Trax record store. We lasted there for a decade before the neighborhood changed, and the property owners wanted to capitalize on their building’s location. In 2014, we moved to a temporary store at 1594 S. Broadway and then moved again in 2024 to our ‘Forever home’ at 1745 s. Broadway.( FashioNation Homepage (fashionationonline.com) For the first five years of the shop, Pam and Paul subsidized the shop from their day jobs and moonlighting gigs. Pam was a florist in the morning before opening the store, and Paul worked nights at a grocery store. The two also popularized the store in nightclubs, where Pam served as a doorman and Paul spun records as a DJ. Working in the nightclubs helped them keep in touch with trends and news about events. Pam is not only a boutique owner but also a talented fashion designer and producer. She tailored most of the clothes by hand for the first few years of the shop’s existence. When Pam and Paul realized that trade shows had cool ready-to-buy items, they were amazed. As the store grew, her workload decreased as the store began to stock clothing lines from designers. Despite this development, tracking fashion trends has been a nightmare. Pam shared what has made their store successful: “We don’t pay too much attention to what the other stores are stocking…we just do what we know.” FashioNation’s “big break” came when Pam and Paul first went to a trade show in New York City. They met a small man named Kuhn Kuhn from India who was living with his family in New York. His booth was full of awesome shoes from the UK, but he was having difficulties selling them because he was not a high-profile seller. FashioNation could not afford the shoes at the time, but he saw that they genuinely liked his products. So, out of the blue, Kuhn Kuhn said, “I will send you shoes and you pay me when you sell them.” He sent us thousands of pairs of shoes, and we became a major shoe seller. When Dr. Martens came along, Pam and Paul were experienced with the industry and became one of the top independent DM sellers nationwide. .documentElement

Feedback is an amalgamation of shoppers satisfaction with the clothing and the exhibited friendliness of the employees. They point out that the store's staff are energetic and ready to assist at all times. The boot and fashion section is to die for, and the selection is amazing. People appreciate how the store is beautiful and the historic building it’s located in is cute. And not forget to mention the successful online platform that made people turn around to visit the store in person just to meet the helpful staff. Service and selection are also top of the line, as one reviewer scores them a special place based on the variety and the services. That is, it's the best, no debate. Women have it better when it comes to clothing shopping than men. Yet, I bet if one enters that store, the option. Moreover, Fashion Nation stocks plus size clothes along with stylish and cute outfits. It can be difficult to deal with, causing people to come back for more and tell their friends about the uniqueness of the store and the welcoming atmosphere. Customer service is so warm and kind you can come back and recommend. Potential customers need to visit the store. High school fashion still exists here, and the service is four times better than before. You place an order online, and they contact you back to offer better size choices. Ideal, I recommend it to a friend; favorite spot to buy gifts and unique clothes for myself and definitely leave with something. Many reviewers would agree that it is an excellent store, and they would recommend it. Fashion Nation is doing something positive, and it's fulfilling. You'll get a great deal on boots and practical socks. Look for an alternative fashion store and come for some sock design.
