Montbell Denver Store was founded in August 1,1975, with the production of premium outdoor equipment and is headquartered in Osaka, Japan. Montbell has two foreign branches, established more than ten years ago. Montbell America, Inc. of Boulder in 2003 and Montbell Suisse SA of Switzerland in 2005. Montbell America's headquarters is in Boulder, Colorado, and has retail stores in Boulder and Denver. Approaching its 50th year, Montbell Corporation was founded to provide high-quality outdoor equipment. Montbell has specialized in "Light & Fast" products and remains committed to creating lightweight clothing and products that are more than just ordinary outdoor equipment. The lightweight, stretchy sleeping bags and feather-light, warm down jackets have given the company an extraordinary reputation in the outdoor industry.
