To provide a delightful wellness experience in our beer-inspired spa. Jessica French and Damien Zouaoui, childhood sweethearts, founded The Beer Spa, now Oakwell. They met in the grade school and married with a young son. They fell in love in NYC and knew they’d be forever together, both professionally and personally. This is the natural conclusion of the many months of travel, research, and belly laughter. Damien grew up in France, and Jessica traveled extensively as a child. They both knew there were many interesting concepts all over the world. This was the light bulb. All of these concepts seem to be interesting, but they were not available in the United States. They agreed to quit their jobs in six months and travel the world with two backpacks, and they would keep traveling until they found the perfect business.
