Founded in 2017 by Alexei Tyukov and Maria Tyukova, Rocky Mountain Ballet Academy prides itself as Denver’s premier classical ballet school. We strive to coach each pupil towards greatness by emphasizing technique, art, and stage presence. To ensure the students receive the best individualized teaching and supervision, RMBA is committed to keeping classes small. Professionals with active performing careers and substantial teaching and coaching experience lead all classes. RMBA’s graduates and present students are encouraged and guided as they seek out career and training opportunities, including company auditions, internships, summer intensive programs, college programs, and other pursuits (Rocky Mountain Ballet, n.d.). The ballet program at Rocky Mountain Ballet Academy is based on the Vaganova Ballet Academy of Russia. The faculty includes full-time and part-time professionals who have a background in classical and modern dance. Rocky Mountain Ballet Academy's faculty members are listed here (Rocky Mountain Ballet, n.d.). By teaching the Vaganova tradition, our students will demonstrate proficiency as well as artistry.

The Rocky Mountain Ballet Academy is universally praised by both students and parents who attribute the high-quality program's success. Students respond vehemently to the "heart", saying that their love for dance has never been so strong, and they note that the program has transformed beginners into near-professionals. Class sizes remain small, instructors offer personalized training, and the entire network supports them. Parents awake their children for long rides to the Academy, ensuring that they can reach the instructors' excellence. The instructors are described as 'incredible' and 'inspiring', and parents are confident that their son/daughter is getting trained by the best in the state. This praise indicates that the instructors have decades of ballet experience, and that they use it during class. The most exciting thing here is the ability to spend time and effort in the studio, as well as the Russian and Russian music classes that offer valuable learning opportunities. Recently, the company has moved and completed working on a new state-of-the-art studio last semester. Overall, there is no evidence of payment frustration, as everyone who pays the academy tuition believes they are getting the worth of their money.
