Mile High Holistics: The Importance of Holistic Care
The term holistic is derived from the Greek holos, meaning whole. At Mile High Holistics, we believe that holistic health solutions, which treat the whole body rather than merely isolated symptoms, are the key to optimal health. Holistic care is a comprehensive method that combines all the main dimensions of an individual’s life to create an integrated balance. Five dimensions of mental, physical, social, and emotional growth are included in our holistic health approach. Each treatment is made to fit the needs and goals of our clients.
Kate Whalen, our founder and owner, has been engaged in healing since she was a child. Kate discovered and nurtured her talents, and other people also recognized and developed theirs. Kate Whalen has diligently brought together practitioners and healers who share her mission and vision to offer comprehensive holistic services to all life stages. Our environment is inclusive and sacred, encouraging relaxation, well-being, and guidance. We offer services ranging from Bodywork and Energy work to Reflexology, Acupuncture and Nutrition. Our vision statement is: A Whole-Body approach that helps everyone feel good. Our staff members have management and ownership experience in the field, so they are passionate about healing and helping others. All team members have been involved in this company for at least five years. Our staff members are each gifted in many different modalities that can help clients reach their healing and health goals.
