Our dog yoga program utilizes the principles of Tao yoga to teach individuals to breathe, focus, and stretch their muscles while moving in synchronization with their animals. Tao dog (r) yoga programs and classes provide the advantages of human yoga to you and teach your dog valuable abilities like relaxation, connection, and relationship building. The training, body handling with smooth touches, and the dog's movements, stretching, and strengthening exercises will benefit your dog. The class also includes doggy savasana near the end, during which you and your pet get to lie down and relax in stillness. We will target your dog's passive exercise (relaxation) in the last 10-15 minutes of the course so that your dog can learn to relax. You will feel more relaxed and closer to your dog by the time you finish the course. Will my dog need to be fully trained? Your dog does not have to be fully trained to attend this class. Sit and down orders are some of the basics that your dog should be aware of. If your pet has attended a basic obedience class, he may be more comfortable in the Tao dog class.
