Barry University, a higher education institution founded by the Adrian Dominican Sisters in 1940, began its journey as Barry College for Women. The institution asserts that action and reflection are pivotal aspects of intellectual growth and development. Education as a tool for community and individual change is a key concept we uphold. At Barry University, we hold the truth that education fosters community and individual transformation. Our understanding is based on learning's movement toward truth and knowledge.
