The Jacksonville Arts and Music School (JAMs) creatively shaped each space to build confidence, foster innovation, and create leaders. Creative Explorers have a chance to explore the arts. Creative Developers, Creative Mentors, and Creative Mentors are now free to choose their majors and minors. It is an exciting and challenging exercise that combines self-guided with JAMS-supported and teacher-led planning. House Davis: Where Musicians and Singers "Rock" the House Named after Miles Davis, this House was for Miles Davis, who was the 20th Century American Jazz trumpeter and bandleader. He was named after a legendary jazz musician. His legacy lives on in these future musical stars. House Davis students carry on his tradition of paying homage to jazz and gospel roots. You are the sound of tomorrow! Mrs. Allen, who is an American actress, dancer and choreographer, and a television director and producer, is the head. House Allen: Where the "Debbie Allens of Tomorrow" Come Alive Every Day House Allen is a name that honors the creative spirit of African American culture. House Allen's students strive to be creative every day. They will become the "Debbie Allens of the future" thanks to their African roots and the modern stage. House Micheaux is named after Oscar Micheaux and his African American filmmaker, author, and producer, known for his over 44 movies. JAMS consistently receive positive review. Indeed, customers seems to really appreciate place setting. The summer camp and after-school programs have been commended for their unique, convenient and safe location. Most customers constantly give feedback on the presence of new and the sense of security while at JAM. JAM strengths seem to be based on great, safe, and new equipment. The activities seem to be youth centered, safe and secure.
