We use English to teach The Barbering Program. The barbering program is made up of sterilization, sanitation, haircutting, shaving and mustache trimming, facials, hair styling, permanent waxing, scalp and hair treatment, hair straightening and wigs. You must have 300 hours before serving clients in the clinic. Student performance on live models is mandatory. You need to pass the HIV/AIDS education exam after graduating. Our graduates from the 1200-hour Barber/Styling Course are all set for the Florida State Board of Barbering Examination and can now be licensed as barbers. Students will be introduced to safety judgements, such as safety and sanitation, and safe work habits, business skills, and professional ethics. Throughout the program, the students will be prepared to pass their state licensure examination. If you complete the Barbering Program, you will be awarded a diploma. You can use this certificate to get entry-level work in the industry.
