Lavilla School of the Arts

LaVilla School of the Arts aims to empower all students to achieve success in academics and the arts. We provide a rigorous academic course of study, along with intense training in eight art disciplines, such as creative writing, ballet, vocal music, guitar, instrumental music, and piano. LaVilla School of the Arts supports students who are eager to pursue the challenging academic and pre-professional art programs together. I strongly suggest that parents and guardians get involved in their children's education. Join or volunteer with our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), School Advisory Committee (SAC), or Booster Organizations. Your input is critical to grooming future leaders for our city, country, and state. I am delighted to serve as the principal of LaVilla School of the Arts. I can assure you that I will give you a challenging academic program while also encouraging your enthusiasm for the arts.

Lavilla is highly recommended by students and families praising the great teachers and supportive environment that help students grow in many ways. The Visual Arts program is particularly popular. Several teachers, like Mr. Schopp and Ms. Frye, receive significant student praise. However, Ms. Lunger is a divisive figure, with some students applauding the fullness of her teaching and others finding the experience difficult. The arts are a key focus for Lavilla, and shows and other events receive enthusiastic audience involvement. Although there are also some critics, most are fans, reporting that they feel supported as individuals and had transformative experiences of personal growth. Suggesting the school's many resources, such as parent and teacher communication tools and enrichment for hallmark programs like Visual Arts. The school's bus transportation and academics sometimes have weaknesses, but many say that taking on these challenges is worth it for the concentration, support, and artistic community they find at Lavilla.
