His late mother and father, Barbara and Dave Workman, Sr., owned and operated Workman's Bait and Tackle, the well-known all-tackle, live bait, and fly supply shop located on Beach Boulevard. His father was a pioneer in all-tackle saltwater fishing. More than 50 years ago, Dave Workman, Jr. began fishing and ultimately creating his first rods when he was 13 in the backyard workshop of his parents. Our knowledgeable staff specializes in all fishing styles—including freshwater, saltwater, and surf—and are eager and prepared to assist you in any way. In addition, knowledgeable staff can help you with any hunting issues, including shooting and archery.
