The Discovery Tree Academy at San Pablo

The educational curriculum from VPK to infants includes an Academic Advisory Board. The academic assignment assists us in incorporating the school philosophy into all other aspects of our daily educational curriculum. From VPK to infants, the philosophy and academic assignment are a part of everything we do. The Discovery Tree Academy (r) vision is to live in a vibrant, prosperous community where all people benefit from a high-quality education. Our Philosophy At Discovery Tree, we believe in fostering children's natural curiosity about the world. This is something the educators see every day. The infant sees a toy in the room and wants to crawl to it. The two-year-old asks "why" a lot. The four-year-old would like to put the train together "all by himself." We integrate this philosophy of inquiry into the curriculum, starting at VPK. This inquiry-based approach to curriculum also helps children learn better. It celebrates curiosity (kids have a lot of it), and it helps children discover the world around them. Each of our classrooms is filled with love, joy, harmony, patience, and trust. This creates an environment where curiosity can be celebrated and encouraged. In the early classrooms, teachers start to use a language for inquiry and discovery. This language is second-nature as our children progress through the program.

A large amount of positive feedback mentioned the high quality care, learning, and teacher nurturing at Discovery Tree Academy. Many of the customers appreciated the teaching staff who were helpful in raising their children. The customers also mentioned that the school is unique in that the children are taught life experiences instead of just being 'babysat.' The meals at the school are also balanced and nutritious. The fact that the children do not easily fall sick from sicknesses implies that the schools are clean and healthy.
