Found in 1915 through a visionary thought of the Sisters of Loretto to build a university, it was such that women pupils could study and be taught. The institute started with only five students in its initial studies. While only two women graduated during the first graduation ceremony, the school has grown and transformed significantly. The development and growth have significantly changed the original site from its initial establishment in 1983. The new program highlights different activities and programs across various fields such as music, art, literature, research, fundraising, and sports. The institution's management has developed various forms of organization for the institution to operate effectively. This includes organizational structures, strategic planning, and execution, and effective leadership.
