South Florida natives, we grew up in Miami’s beauty-conscious culture. Years of hormonal acne and cystic acne were unkind. I was a skincare student at Aveda Institute and embarked on a journey to heal. My confidence grew, and I discovered my passion for making others feel beautiful. When my skin freaked out, I needed someone. I knew I'd be that person. The Skin Lounge business was born when I needed to create a business where I could be myself and empower others. It is a blessing to be able to connect with people and help them realize their beauty. It’s hard to live in a world that values external appearances over intrinsic beauty.
