Before joining Assurance Capital, Richard Buckanavage was the founder and President of Harvest Capital Credit Corporation ("Harvest") (NASDAQ: HCAP), a public investment company. Mr. Buckanavage led and created all elements of Harvest, including the investment committee and board of directors. Harvest provided senior and mezzanine loans, equity capital for buyouts, and growth financing transactions. Harvest's investment portfolio was close to $1 billion. Mr. Buckanavage sat on the boards of two portfolio companies and had observer status on seven others. Harvest had an investment portfolio worth about $1 billion. Patriot Capital Funding, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCAP) – Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Buckanavage was also a member of the investment committee and a director. Patriot provided senior and mezzanine loans to sub-$1 Billion Enterprise Value ($10 million to $50 million EBITDA) lower-middle-market companies, mainly for buyouts and growth financing transactions.
