George Stefanou, CFP®|AAMS¿|CRPC® - Financial Advisor at Edward Jones: As a child of a Greek immigrant, I barely had an elementary school education when I came here. I have seen the beauty of the American Dream, and I have been brought up to appreciate it. The idea of working hard and being financially disciplined is what drives me. My wife, Kristin, and my daughter, Ella, remind me of my role as a husband and father, and my clients' families remind me that family is essential. It is my motivation to visit my clients and ensure that their financial goals are met. My father taught me to invest my money and work hard. My first-time homebuyer was at 19; all of them had been the fruits of my hard-earned money. In 2009, I followed my passion for finance and opened the 9th Edward Jones branch in Orlando. I feel privileged to handle more than 70 branches as the Client Solutions Leader for the Greater Orlando Area. I actively give back to my community and have a passion for financial education. My voluntary work in Junior Achievement has earned me the Above and Beyond Award. I am a UCF graduate (Go Knights!) with a bachelor's degree in business. I am also a Certified Financial Planner (r) in solving complex financial issues for my clients, accredited by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
