If there are no other options, we only cut drywall if absolutely necessary. How Do We Inspect the Pipes? After running the new cold and hot-water lines we will perform an air test at 100psi. This will be observed by the homeowner and an affidavit signed. Once the water is turned off, we turn it back on and test the entire house 3 more times while also cleaning everything. Temporarily, the drywall is put back into its original place and taped up until the next day (according to the city/county). After this, the Home Inspector from the City/County will inspect the property and complete the installation of drywall.
