Kept telling me to hire a lawyer when asking of I can give free food to homeless with cert. Is it lazy, fear, sloth, don't care? Said their lawyers said all they could say. A competitor directed me to the health dept and gave much useful info about the class and directions to look. Can't even tell me go to health dept but call a lawyer.

I took a course through NALI specifically because it claimed to be accepted in my area as well as their 100% guarantee that is advertised per their website, “If your certificate is not accepted for any reason, contact us and let us know. We will refund you the full price of the course.” After paying for and successfully completing their course I find the opposite was true. The certificate was not accepted, it was stated they had never heard of this organization,and then provided me with a list of other options to retake the course through. When I reached out to let them know per the advertised guarantee I received the reply below (redacted) stating further unrealistic requirements of me doing the the legwork to coordinate with the unaccepting organization and provide the acceptance criteria and why to NALI to received my refund. Each time I pointed out the contradictions to their advertised guarantee and how unreasonable to the request was the “required proof” kept changing slightly. I’m hoping others can avoid this scam to prevent a waste of their time and money as well. Not only did I waste the time taking the course, I have been set back for another 6 months solely to return for proof of completion of the course through another organization. We are sorry to hear the course was not accepted. Please answer these questions: Why did you need to register to take this course, what was the court order or charge? Why would the entity not accept the course? As per the terms and conditions that all students read and agree to prior to payment during registration and enrollment, we will refund only with written proof of a course rejection, within 30 days of payment. So, you can have a legal professional send us an email to ———@—— indicating that the course/certificate was not accepted, which will satisfy as proof of rejection. (Screenshots are not acceptable proof of rejection, we require the original email forwarded to us). Once we receive the proof of rejection, we will immediately review it for refund processing and or ask for additional clarification if needed.
