The Orlando Metropolitan Ballet Academy (OrlandoMet) is a nonprofit institution offering the highest-quality ballet training to all who seek it. The organization is firm in their commitment to the American Ballet Theatre (r) National Training Curriculum, which serves as the base for OrlandoMet training. OrlandoMet offers two educational programs, the Regular Academic Program and the Pre-Professional Academic Program. Both programs are instrumental in providing the necessary training and knowledge required for a dance career, depending on the student's pace. The curriculum includes areas such as (Ballet technique, body conditioning, (pilates, stretching, etc), repertoire, variations, and vocabulary.semblies. OMBA is a close-knit community. It is a Center of learning where students grow as dancers, performers, individuals, and friends. Moreover, staying is a way to face the challenges and learning more and more. And the great thing is that everyone supports each other and knows that they can do school and ballet, the School have always been there to help them with homework and make sure they understand and, But not only when you are in studio but even when you are away people care and always care outcomes for everyone the whole school as a community cares for each other. And the parents are also in the community once you walk into the school doors you are part of the family. The parent community is also great because parents talk and support each other making sure to be there for each other. Each student is important in this studio. Parents are not only been able to form relationships with other parents in the parent community, the parents are able to form relationships with their kids. The people in the studio thank each other every single day and for not only attending the academy but contributing in any other way they can. And this fall break everyone was home and in the studio, they knew that they would be having online classes and had issues with accessing the zoom. They didnt have information and where to find the information but the school made the students only send the message and all the information was passed to all the parents. Also, that someone would be there to help them out if they needed help. . The handle these situations well and very understanding for example one day the student was having trouble with the little brother in the background while she was in class. instead of maybe texting the student to tell her to handle the situation better or do somthing about it the instructor made the little brother sit in and make it fun for everyone and the student was able to do her class perfectly without any distraction. One of the most important things that I learDataSetChangedned from the position was that becoming work for everyone. Teachers and student work in students to give them the best experience and help they need to advance in ballet. Is there is always of to something is wrong the teachers teach the student on what to do to make it better for instance if a students leg is not changing the teacher would tell them to do a specific stretch at the barre to help her extensions. This is something that has really helped the student in one day the changes had already started. The teachers are very uplifting in terms of making decisions on their own. The company is very original Hancock from a two-man team to what it is. And the experience does not stop there they are always seeking for more so that this next student will have a memorable experience. One thing that would make the studio better is that if the studio had is if holidays were more for the student. They work really hard and need some off so that they can recover some more and come back ready to learn more. In conclusion, Orlando Metropolitan Ballet Academy has a supportive and energetic environment that fosters personal growth and community connection for all its students. Being here is being at home and sure place where you know everyone has your back no matter the situation.
