So today, October 28th, my mother booked an appointment for 6:15pm. She received a text message that asked her to change her review on a previous visit. Just a little advice from one business owner to another: That’s not customer service! She was asked to change the review she left 5 months ago without asking being asked if she was satisfied or if her feelings changed. She was asked to change her review in order to have an appointment today. That her review was about a technician she wanted to work with today and that it was bad for business and it actually wasn’t about him at all. 5 months ago, She asked to change 4 fingernails and was told she had to redo both hands. My mom just wanted to do 4 nails but she did what she was told. As a response to her review it seems like she was blamed for the time inconvenience on the shop when my mom asked for 4 nails and not all 10. I don’t understand how the customer didn’t get what they wanted and yet was blamed for the long wait. She would’ve dealt with any fashion consequences a 4-nail change would have came with. To me, the manager didn’t respond accurately, it’s all about how you address situations in customer service. Also, I wouldn’t ask a customer to change their review, just change the customer’s experience. So you send her a text message that says if she doesn’t change her review then her appointment is canceled.
