About this business
Our Love and the warm beach weather we both love for dogs lead to the creation of The Bark Stop. We both come from different backgrounds.
The best and kindest way to train your dog is with positive reinforcement. This is what scientific studies on animal behavior have shown. It is science-based and loving. It is a slow, quiet, and gentle process.
It is up to us to teach them. Your dog is likely to do it again if you teach him fear-free and then reward him when he learns.
Our expertise encompasses Crate & Potty training, basic obedience commands, both indoors and out, leash training, mental enrichment, confidence building, socialization, surfaces and sounds, desensitization, and good manners. We don’t reinforce unwanted behaviors like Guarding your possessiveness, Counter Surfing, Demand or Nuisance Barking, pulling Leash or leash, and mild Reactivity.
We want you to have a companion that will last a lifetime, as this makes you feel loved and fulfilled. This relationship is one based on trust and kindness, not fear. Rewarding loving behavior results in a dog who loves you back and is obedient.

Where is The Bark Stop - Fear Free Puppy & Dog Training located?
I tried to contact them several times over the phone, text, email, website form filled out to physically talk to someone no one ever even attempted to call me back. I was recommended to this training company by her actual Vet Dr that diagnosed her with anxiety because according to The Bark Stop website they help with anxiety and obedience training. I got a text message a few days after sending several messages to check my email and they just referred me to a behavioral therapist for dog without even know all her information. I will be taking her back to the vet next week for a check up and to get other trainer options.
