UCF Downtown

An integral aspect of a 21st-century city is a 21st-century-ready campus. Innovation is the underpinning of a place that can accommodate the creation of the new thing that can transform life and society for the next fifty years. UCF Downtown, a collaborative effort between Valencia College and UCF, is an ideal example of how a campus designed to offer common spaces for multiple institutions can reshape a community. There were over 7,000 students in the higher education immediate vicinity, generating a whole new campus community. UCF Downtown opened its doors in August 2019. It will enhance educational possibilities for underserved populations, provide pathways to high-demand careers, and deepen meaningful partnerships with local partners.
