Kindred Hospital The Palm Beaches does not have emergency services available. However, our most sought-after specialty is the care and rehabilitation of an acute injury or illness; hence, we are chosen for the post-intensive care and complex medical patient needing intensive care. The facility also provides specialized rehabilitation in an acute hospital setting. We offer an extensive range of rehabilitation therapies to help our patients achieve positive outcomes, regain function, and safely transition home at the earliest time possible as they recuperate. We have an 11-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit and a 68-bed long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) for intensive recuperation. Our intent is to provide equal care to what you would receive with an LTACH hospital bed in a traditional hospital, but you may require more time to recover. Both units have 24-hour clinical care every day of the week, working with your physician to initiate your recovery. Our hospital sits slightly North of central West Palm Beach, with the nearest water body being four miles inland in Riviera Beach.
