Where do I begin? They claim they are under new ownership and trying to force us into a new contract since the bank GoodLeap dropped them. I have sent my complaint to the State of Florida and am waiting to hear back from them. They have placed a lien on our house, threatening to foreclose. We are getting a lawyer to fight this, which they did the breach of contract. I have also sent the complaint to my city, deemed unsatisfactory, and to the Better Business Bureau, which they are not a member of. Please review and check before you work with this company. Please file with the State of Florida.
Stay away from this company. They are scam artists and we got scammed bc the owner Danny cohpra took all the money and ran. Millions of customers got scammed. Legal proceedings were already done. They claim they are still in business but that is bull shit lies. 8 months of a nightmare that needs to end. We are almost there and will have a reliable company finish the job. Good leap will never do business with them again. Mc solar are scammers. Please do your research before getting a solar company it will save you a headache.
Been working on getting to turn mine on since last June. They were reimbursing us for our electric since we were having to pay both. We got an update on that website This program has been discontinued. NowI get the privilege of paying both.Not a reputable company. They lie. Just say no

If I could give zero stars I would! I have made 4 payments on a solar system loan that isn't even hooked up yet!!! You can't get any response from this company by phone or email!!! Set up one appointment for inspection and they were a no show. You call and are on hold forever and they never answer their phone!!!!
If i could give 0 stars i would. I got roped into this bullshit in July 2022. The install happened quickly. The seller person that did all the initial paperwork stopped responding and blocked me once things started to go south. It took 5 months for the inspection to happen. I had to call 10 times to get the inspection. Finally got a scheduled inspection. NO ONE CAME! Back to calling trying to get a new inspection date and they kept telling me i would get a confirmation email and notified before the day of the inspection. That did not happen. They showed up without anyone notifying me and i just happened to be home. The inspection FAILED! They said they'll come out to fix whatever the inspector said needed fixing. I was never notified when they will come back out. Again they showed up at my house with no notice whatsoever. 2 weeks later they show up again with no notice once again! This time the guy tells me they'll schedule a new inspection. I stressed to him that the company keeps sending people without notifying me and to please ensure i am notified that they are going to be coming to my house. They finally called me 2 weeks later with a new scheduled inspection day. Guess what, no one showed up. At this point i want this crap off my roof and to be done with this stupid company. They don't care about our money and they are a scam. The purchase and install was done in July 2022. We are in February 2023 and i'm paying for my electric bill and the stupid panels. Biggest scam ever. Don't trust them. They're full of shit
I'll give them one start because there is no choice for zero starts. DO NOT use this company. All the reviews are correct! I wish we had read them before but decided to use them because of a friend (whom went into contract with them before us and we found out he still hasn't gotten the panels turn on). We went into contract with this company back in August/September. They did the inspection and said something wasn't working and said they would come back to fix it and never did. They don't respond to calls or messages. We had already made three payments to our electrical company as well as the loan for the darn panels. It is infuriating knowing that this company may have run with everyone's money and now we have to pay.
Nightmare experience and by far the worst company I've ever dealt with. Pretty much every review below is spot on. Once they get you under contract with GoodLeap you are left to fend for yourself as communication become non-existent. I signed with them in August of 2022, and my system is still not up and running. They promised reimbursement for the monthly loaned due to their own delay but never received anything and can't get any update.
ZERO stars would be an achievement for this place. Entered into Agreement 08/08/2022 its now January 23 rd 2023 and I have been paying both Duke and Goodleap now for 4 months and still have no operating Sokar System. Even Enphase is not able to get them to respond and to complete what they started . Their phone system suck and you never get ANYWHERE , they don't respond to RELAY ED messages and DEFINATELY not to emails It's like dealing with a STONEWALL . Costumer care does not / will not connect you with the OWNER DANNY CHOPRA !!!

Please read this review if you want an honest review of this company and the amount of terror my family has been dealing with. Avoid this company at all costs - I was contacted by a 3rd party company to add on solar - Spartan Solar - now I am not one to deal with door to door sales reps, but as a sales person myself, I gave him the time of day and they were great at selling because this was the only positive part of what I've dealt with.
June of 2022 I was contacted about installation - installation was quick, and we were able to get everything fully complete in less than a week.
Fast forward to January 2023 - the company has set up inspections with the county twice now, and each time MC Solar's representative has not shown up to verify the inspection with the county representatives. Once in November, and once this month (January 2023).
Both times, when I confronted the company about it, they provided me with the excuse that the technician that was scheduled to be there was no longer with the company...... You would think that any good company would schedule someone else that actually works there to show up instead for something that was scheduled by them.
Customer service has been disgusting. I called initially when the inspector showed up and it took me an hour to get ahold of someone. Just for them to tell me that no one from their inspection team was working that day and they would call me the next day. Shocker - they never did.
Fast forward a few days later, I call and ask for a supervisor (Julio) and explain the situation - tells me he didn't have an actual excuse for why no technician was there during their scheduled inspections but that he would get me someone to fix that right away. He placed me on hold, after an HOUR and a half of waiting on hold (without anyone picking up and apologizing for the wait) I hung up and called again.
I'm currently 30 minutes waiting for someone to pick up after calling their main line for support AGAIN......
I've tried everything, and I have been more than patient with them, never have raised my voice or threatened them, never was anything but a good customer. I've called, and emailed and feel that I am just getting scammed now and am forced to get legal representation for something that I am paying for.
At this point, I have reached out to a consumer rights lawyer to file a lawsuit for negligence
Please run away from this company as fast as you can. I feel that I have been deceived and hustled by this company. They installed the sola panels fairly quick in Sept 2022 but since then, I haven’t received a phone call from them and keep giving me the run around. It has been 4 months that I have been stuck paying two bills the FPL bill and Goodleap. I don’t know when this madness is going to end and I’m to the point that I’m going to hire an attorney to out a law suit on them for breach of contract. I haven’t been reimburse for the loan payments, either.
Install a breeze but months and months and months go by and they have yet to re-schedule the final inspection from the first that did not happen due to a storm.
Not saving and money back guarantee if not turned on from payments suspended and no one calls you back, emails you back, and I understand now there is a new owner according to Google.
Tip to anyone that used them. Call in your own final inspection. In our town we can do that.

Pretty much everything that anyone else has said about them being money, grubbing scum bags who install panels just to get the money and then actually turn the system on taking months is pretty much everything I’ve gone through and their customer service is terrible. I’ve been promised innumerable times that I would get a call back from everybody that they throw at me, including their second rate customer service manager. I think that company is for money grubbing scumbags and it’s all classic. Typical Florida hustle. They have an office in a big building downtown Tampa, but they don’t have enough people to install the products that they’re providing because they’re not as interested in installing as they are getting the big and quick money out of whoever is lending or incentivizing be that the government or whomever. They are not about helping people. They’re about feeling important and raking in money. It’s a terrible ..rapey business. Don’t trust them. They’re completely full of shit in my opinion.
I have been waiting for months….and that’s probably better than many others. Save yourself the hassle. Don’t use them.
I just posted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I had given this company many chances to 1) answer their customer ‘service” phone line, 2) respond in a timely fashion to messages and/or email concerning the long delays in getting connected. This company will slap on the panels within days, but their follow up with permits, inspections and application to Duke Energy took over 5 months! Right now, they sent me paperwork to sign to accept connection. The box has a red light, not green, so we don’t know if we are connected. No one is answering the phone or email/ text messages. My advice is to steer clear away from MC Solar.
If I could put no stars I would. The install super fast everything else is SUPER SLOW!!! Customer service absolutely horrendous, very sarcastic, rude, they literally left me on hold for 45 minutes till they closed and hung up the phone! No one can ever give me a straight answer or the right one. If I don't call them I would never know they need something to move forward. Project started in August, 4 months later we are still not done and they can't tell me a round about time frame. I really wish I never started with this company.

Worse company! Please do yourself a favor and do not use them. It has been a complete nightmare since day one. They sent crew for installation on the wrong day, had the wrong plans for the installation, submitted the installation to the loan servicing agency and they started to ask for payments on an installation that never took place. Left materials in my driveway for over two months now and can’t return a single phone call. Worse company in the whole country if I could give a zero star I would. Filed complaint with BBB
Worst mistake I ever made - as soon as Solar system was installed and turned on - my circuit breaker continues to trip one whole side of our house. System was installed in July and now it is Dec and still no help or fix from Mc Solar - I call, leave message, send emails, get promises that they are looking into it and will fix - and still 5 months later - no solution. Now I am paying electric bill and bill for Solar system. Get emails to submit bills for system and promises to pay. Still Nothing - Still paying full electric bill and loan payment for worthless system.
