Maureen's Swim Academy
Since 2002, Maureen's Swim Academy, a family-owned and operated school, has provided year-round swim lessons for the Tampa Bay community. The founder, Maureen, has a passion for instructing individuals of all ages to swim and stressing the importance of water safety. Maureen’s love of water and kids inspired her to open her swim school. She is a participant in the “Learn to Swim” program, which is coordinated by an American Red Cross volunteer organization. Our instructor furthered her education with ongoing courses and comparing swim programs throughout the United States. Conferences keep Maureen informed about the latest in the industry. Parents have an edge with our extensive experience. Maureen's lessons are carefully planned so kids learn progressively instead of becoming confused. Each student is unique, so we tailor the lesson to fit them. At Maureen’s Swim Academy, our Philosophy is to keep our students engaged by establishing trust and being a secure teacher. We want each student, whether they are an adult or a child, to progress, and our order will guarantee their confidence. This water safety program and the “Learn to Swim” program have evolved into our philosophy. One student at a. time, we strive to avoid drowning.
