ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

Swim Academy Tampa is expert swimming lessons tailored to each swimmer with a boutique feel. We have highly experienced instructors that get to know students personally and make them feel comfortable. The main things taught in lessons are safety and survival, technique, while also having fun and building a love for swimming. We offer a variety of schedules for lessons, so families can get their kids in for lessons any time of year. Our instructors are friendly and won't stop until they see improvement. The Baby Fish program The Baby Fish program is for swimmers as young as two months old up to five months. In this class, the instructor works with the baby and their parent to safely introduce the baby to the water, practicing controlling breathing, and blowing bubbles. The class is completely free, but parents must pay a one-time registration fee of $15, which includes a Happy Nappy swimming diaper. The baby can come out of this program knowing how to swim, control their breathing, and blow underwater bubbles. It's an excellent bonding activity for parents and babies. The Parent and Me program The Parent and Me program is for swimmers aged five months to three years and allows parents to help their children learn basic swimming skills. Instructors teach parents how to guide their children as they learn, with the goal of helping kids reach the wall, float on their back, and control their breathing. This class teaches water safety, water comfort, and swimming basics. Overall, these classes focus on parent guidance to teach babies how to swim. The Little Fish Program Swim Academy Tampa has a learning to swim program with lessons for swimmers from three to twelve years (488-1). Swimmers are divided into two groups: three to six year olds and seven to ten year olds. The ratio for students to instructors is 6. Although the parent is no longer in the water for classes, they will sit poolside and still be actively involved. These classes are structured to provide a fun and safe learning environment where young swimmers can embrace the water and all the fun activities that come with it. Instructors work on aspects of brushing up on skills, endurance, and other important factors like breathing techniques. Little Fish clases also work with swimmers to help them become more comfortable in the water by providing a positive and encouraging learning environment. Lesson Times
