ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

Established in 1953, Obedience Training Club of Palm Beach County (OTCPBC) is one of the state's oldest dog obedience training clubs. It is a nonprofit dog training club with an exceptional reputation and an impressive record of success in training dogs. It is also licensed by the American Kennel Club. The club has approximately 100 members and has trained more than 100,000 dogs in the community. In addition to helping thousands of area dogs and their owners, the club also assists Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control. Our instructors prioritize compassionate, science-based, and successful training methods to maintain this fantastic training record. Do you have a dog that walks by your side without a leash? You never have to worry about her going when called, no matter what. Who happily brings you the paper, sits beside you while you drink your coffee, greets you quietly at the door when you arrive home, and sleeps beside your bed at night. Or do you have a dog who pulls like a freight train the moment you put his leash on? He barks and does acrobatics every time he sees another dog. Comes when called? Not when there are lizards to chase. He's still an awesome dog; he just needs to be taught how to do it! Our classes range from basic obedience to puppy training to more advanced training and tricks. Learn more about your dog and let us introduce you to dog sports: agility, nose work, obedience (competition and on-leash), rally, tracking, and much more.

SUMMARY   Reviews Summary

Review summaries: Feedback is overall positive about the facility, dog training and trainers. Owners love it and are happy with the classes. Professionals are dedicated and enjoy teaching. These classes form the dog's behavior while creating strong bonds with the owner. The courses focus on rudiments. Dog owners are happy when they finish a class and often sign up their pets for more. There are select classes that are not mandatory for dog trainers. This indicates that the place is a great training center.
