The Geller family has worked in the jewelry industry for 15 generations. David Geller, a personal jeweler for Tsar Nicholas II of Russia in the late 1800s, came to the US with his wife and son Dan Geller at the beginning of this century. Like his father, Dan, and many jewelers learned the trade from New York’s jewelry-making houses. This helped both men afford their families.
