We had to bring our older cat in to the Abernathy Rd. Sandy Springs 24-hour location for an emergency late one night last month, and the staff was great from the front desk to the treating vet. Dr. Francesco Leverone was extremely compassionate and explained everything in a common-sense manner. He gave us as much time as we needed to make a decision and to be with our pet at that time. Unfortunately, we made the tough decision to humanely euthanize in the facility shortly after bringing our cat in, but I can't stress enough how great Dr. Leverone was in helping our family and our pet as much as he could in that time. With the information he gave us about the prognosis our older and infirm cat was facing due to the emergency, it was absolutely the right choice to euthanize and Dr. Leverone gently helped us arrive at that conclusion. We have been there a handful of times over the years and have had good experiences. We will continue to bring our pets to this facility in case of emergency.
